Lejre Land of Legends has 43 hectars of some of Denmark&#8217;s most beautiful landscape that guests can explore. That&#8217;s 430,000 square meters, and means that we have space for everyone. On our most busy days, it may look like there are many cars on the parking lot, but we&#8217;ve expanded it with extra room in the rear end of the parking lot. When you arrive, you have to come through the entrance, and in the mornings there may be a queue there, on our busiest days. Thankfully, you&#8217;ll be through quickly, since the queue splits as soon as you come into the entrance building. A lot of the roads and paths in Lejre Land of Legends aren&#8217;t paved, and that means that the accessibility depends on whether there&#8217;s mud or now. Some of the houses in the Iron Age village have been equipped with wheelchair slips, so you can enter them. Additionally, our staff is ready to help you in and out of our historical buildings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Blue Route<\/strong> is the most wheelchair and pram friendly route. It brings through the Iron Age village, the Viking area, the Firevalley, the historical workshops, the Caf\u00e9 and the shop. Most manual wheelchairs, prams, trolleys should be able to pass, depending on the user\u2019s and the assistant\u2019s physical shape. We\u2019ve experienced that some stretches can be a little bit tricky to pass for electrical wheelchairs. There are <strong>no<\/strong>\u00a0benches along the route for now.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Yellow Route<\/strong> is not accessible to wheelchairs or prams. There are a few places where a pram can&#8217;t pass on the Yellow Route in the Stone Age, which brings you past a forest path. On this path, you&#8217;ll have to cross a bridge that&#8217;s just a single plank wide.<\/p>\n<p>If it&#8217;s been raining a lot in the days up to your visit, it can be hard or strenuous to carry a pram, as some areas can become muddy.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"mere-tekst-wrapper \"><button class=\"button fold-ud\"><strong>CAN I RENT A TROLLEY?<\/strong><\/button><button class=\"button fold-ind\" style=\"display: none\"><strong>CAN I RENT A TROLLEY?<\/strong><\/button><div class=\"mere-tekst\" style=\"display: none\">\n<p>No, it is not possible to rent a trolley to pull your picnic and bags. We have a lot of reconstructions that can burn down very quickly and takes a lot of time to rebuild. We can&#8217;t guarantee that we find all the lost items, but there&#8217;s always somewhere to start. For some, that means a desire to wear costumes or historic garb during a visit. In Lejre Land of Legends we work with living history, which means that part of our staff is in historic garb.
